Welcome to Forth Camanachd Women's Shinty Club, the home of Women's National League Shinty in South East Scotland.
About Shinty
Shinty is Scotland 's official and traditional national sport and is played at all levels both nationally and internationally versus Irish Hurling and Camogie teams.
Despite being a relatively young sport, Women's shinty is rapidly developing throughout Scotland and beyond; joining the men's game on centre stage at annual events such as the Marine Harvest North Vs South and Scotland Vs Ireland, Shinty Vs Camogie. About Forth Camanachd
Forth Camanachd is the only non-university Women's Shinty Team in Eastern Scotland ; mainly based in Edinburgh but with players ranging far and wide from Perthshire to Aberdeen . Our team is composed of many students and graduates from Scottish Universities as well as some Irish camogie players and local community members. We are always on the lookout for new players so whether you have ever played shinty of camogie before or are a complete beginner to both we would love to see you at training.
